Get creative and have fun!

1. Download the card design template and print it off at home, or pick one up from either International Antarctic Centre or Willowbank ticketing counters.

2. Create an original design for the Wild & Ice Annual Membership card.

3. Submit your artwork by scanning your design as either a high res PNG or PDF file and emailing the form to us at marketing@willowbank.co.nz or you can visit us at either attraction and drop off your completed form.

4. Be sure to include your name, age and contact details.

5. Entries close at 11:59pm on 28 June 2026.

Who Can Enter?
Children aged between 5 and 15 years who reside in NZ.

The winning design will be selected based on creativity, suitability and overall fit for the Wild & Ice Annual Membership card.

Competition opens on 17 June, 2026 and closes at 11:59pm NZST on 28 June, 2026

• To enter, participants must submit an original design for the card that will be used for the joint annual membership for Willowbank Wildlife Reserve and the International Antarctic Centre.

• Entrants must be aged between 5 and 15 years (inclusive) at the time of entry. Entrants under 18 years of age must have permission from a parent or legal guardian to enter.

• Multiple entries are permitted. Each design submission will be treated as a separate entry.

• All submitted designs must be the entrant's original work and must not infringe the intellectual property rights of any third party.

• Entries containing offensive, inappropriate or copyrighted material may be deemed ineligible and removed from the competition at the discretion of Willowbank Wildlife Reserve and the International Antarctic Centre.

• The winning design will be selected by Willowbank Wildlife Reserve and the International Antarctic Centre based on creativity, suitability and brand fit. The judges' decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

• The winner will receive one joint annual family membership (valid for two adults and up to three children) providing admission to both Willowbank Wildlife Reserve and the International Antarctic Centre for 12 months.

• If the winner already holds a current Club Willowbank Membership or International Antarctic Centre Ambassador Club Membership, they will instead receive a new 12-month joint annual family membership commencing in July 2026.

• Existing memberships will not be extended, refunded, exchanged for cash, transferred to another person, or credited towards the prize.

• The prize is not transferable, exchangeable, or redeemable for cash.

• Promotion is open to NZ residents only.

• Entrants must retain the original artwork used for their submission. The winning entrant may be required to provide the original artwork to Willowbank Wildlife Reserve and the International Antarctic Centre.

• The winner will be contacted via phone and/or email and must respond within 48 hours of notification. If no response is received, Willowbank Wildlife Reserve and the International Antarctic Centre reserve the right to select an alternative winner.

• By entering the competition, the entrant's parent or legal guardian consents to the winner's first name, age and submitted design being used by Willowbank Wildlife Reserve and the International Antarctic Centre for the purpose of announcing the winner and promoting the competition.

• The winner and their parent or legal guardian may be invited to participate in publicity related to the competition. With the parent or legal guardian's prior consent, Willowbank Wildlife Reserve and the International Antarctic Centre may use a photograph of the winner, along with their first name, age and winning design, for competition announcements and promotional purposes.

• Employees of Willowbank Wildlife Reserve and the International Antarctic Centre, and their immediate family members, are not eligible to enter.

• By entering the competition, participants and their parent or guardian agree that if their design is selected as the winning entry, ownership of the design and all associated intellectual property rights will transfer to Willowbank Wildlife Reserve and the International Antarctic Centre. The winning design may be modified, reproduced, published and used for promotional, marketing and operational purposes without further compensation.

• Willowbank Wildlife Reserve and the International Antarctic Centre reserve the right to amend, suspend or cancel the competition at any time if circumstances beyond their reasonable control make it necessary to do so.
